International Students

International students are welcome to MNIT Jaipur through any one of the avenues (as per eligibility) listed as follows:

1.Direct Admission Student Abroad (DASA)

DASA stands for Direct Admission of Students Abroad and is an initiative by the Government of India (GOI) for Foreign Nationals, NRIs (Non Resident Indian), PIOs (Person of Indian Origin) & Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) only.

2.Ministry of External affairs (MEA) Admissions

The academic eligibility and required documents for candidates applying through MEA will be at par with the candidates offered admission through DASA process. They are required to pay normal institute tuition fee and balance institute fee as per DASA. The candidates will be offered admission letter for an Academic session by the MEA on MEA quota seats (if any).

3.Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Admissions

MNIT Jaipur offers admission in UG and PG programs in Academic session under ICCR Category. Please visit ICCR website for more information and regular updates.

4.Study in India

The Indian education system began with ancient scriptures thousands of years ago. It has now transformed into modern-day education imparted in the finest of institutions. The network of 42,000+ colleges and 1000+ universities have aided India to become an attractive education hub for international students. The same richness of Indian higher education needed due focus and led to the birth of the idea of the Study in India programme.

Silver Jubilee Scholarship Scheme (Nepal): Under SJSS, admission is provided by the Embassy of India, Kathmandu to Nepalese candidates for Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine and Para-medical courses in Indian Universities and Institutions.

Suborno Jayanti Scholarship (Bangladesh): 1000 Suborno Jayanti Scholarships for students (ICCR: 500 seats) and officials (ITEC: 500 seats) of Bangladesh were announced during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Bangladesh on 26-27 March 2021, to attract best and brightest talents, by making these scholarships aspirational for the applicants, and provide important opportunity to promote synergies between India and Bangladesh under India’s New Education Policy.

 Undergraduate Admission

The admission to undergraduate courses is facilitated through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) only. Please visit JEE portal for further details.

 Postgraduate and Ph.D. Admissions

The students can be admitted in the following categories

  1.  Through GATE Examination (visit current website)
  2.  ICCR Scholarship (Government of India) : http://iccr.gov.in/

Candidates applying for admission to PG/PhD programmes under the categories 1 to 3 (listed above) should apply through the respective links/portals. Other candidates are required to submit their application through our online portal (see right part of this page).
Applications sent directly by students without a sponsor will not be entertained. Applicants without a sponsor may apply through categories 1 to 3.

 Accommodation

The Institute provide on campus boarding and lodging facility to all the regular students. The messes in the hostel are managed and regulated by "MNIT Mess Council".International students can avail the mess facility at student hostels.
