About the Department

The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering (AIDE) at Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur (MNIT) was established in the year 2023. The department promotes academic and research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) , Data engineering and related technology to equip students with the knowledge and skills to thrive in this rapidly evolving landscape.
The department has well-qualified and dedicated faculty members with specializations in niche areas like motion analysis, robotics, generative AI, brain computer interface, and agentic AI. Its state-of-the-art labs provide students with the infrastructure to work on real-world problems, from developing intelligent algorithms to engineering scalable data pipelines. Through industry collaborations and cutting-edge research, the department empowers students to not only understand the mechanics of AI but also to apply them ethically and creatively to solve complex global challenges.
