Minors and Honors Programmes Scheme and Syllabus

MNIT Jaipur has implemented new UG scheme from academic year 2022-23. This UG scheme has been prepared incorporating the provisions of the New Education Policy 2020.
Under the new UG scheme, the students have an opportunity to learn significantly, and thus specialize to some extent, in an area of their choice. This is being offered through Honors (in parent discipline) or Minor Specialization (outside the parent discipline/program).
The students have an opportunity to take part in interdisciplinary learning through Minor Specialization offered by any department other than the parent department. Provision of minor specialization adds value to the core degree as well as it can also open opportunities in the field of minor specialization.
Honors courses are either advanced level courses in parent department or courses designed to give more exposure of a specific area out of the different areas of the parent department. Honors courses help to get deeper knowledge in a certain specialized area to better prepare a student for higher studies or to take a job in that area.
The institute is offering 18 minor specialization programs (offered by all the departments of the institute) and honors programs in all UG programs (total 16 options). Please click on the tabs below for more details.
