She is an awardee of Post-doctoral fellowship of ICSSR, New Delhi and of Junior and Senior Research Fellowship of UGC, New Delhi. She is also a recipient of University Gold medal in her post-graduation from University of Rajasthan. Her research interest lies in the area of Sociology, Digital inequalities and marginalisation, Sociology of Gender, Globalization, society and culture, Social Change, Rural development, and Science, technology & Society. Courses presently being taught by her include ‘Sociology of Science and Technology’ and ‘Gender and Society’.
