Brief Research Profile

Dr. Santosh Kumar Vipparthi, a senior member of IEEE, currently working at the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar), has 11+ years of experience in teaching and industry. Before IIT Ropar served IIT Guwahati and MNIT. He leads Vision Intelligence Lab with research focused on crucial visual perception tasks such as moving object detection, human emotion recognition, aberrant event detection, gesture recognition, motion analysis, image retrieval, etc. He also completed research and consultancy projects for various Govt. agencies. The technologies I am dealing with are Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Image Processing, and Signal Processing.
