Functional Organometallic Chemistry, Inorganic-Photo Physics, Organometallics for Sustainable Energy and Biological applications, # Nanomaterials Chemistry for New Materials, Smart Materials and Nanoscale Composites, Energy Conservation and renewables, Hydrogen energy, Organometallic and Coordination Chemistry, Photo-voltaic Materials, Photcatalytic oxidation.

Brief Research Profile

We work on synthetic chemistry, especially focusing on organometallic molecules. Our synthetic study is based on several specified guidelines that ensure the functional application of our molecules. Present research theme focus on developing hybrid organometallic materials for energy harvesting applications. Functional Molecules are also designed and synthesized to suit the requisites for use as light emissive materials (Say, OLEDs, LEECs). Furthermore few exotic molecules that show excellent vapochromic emission- color changes and those showing mechanochromic responses are also under investigations.
