Commonwealth Split-site Scholarship Awarded to Ms. Rohini Haridas, PhD Student in Electrical Engineering
Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur is delighted to announce that Ms. Rohini Haridas, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Electrical Engineering, has been selected for the esteemed Commonwealth Split-site Ph.D. Scholarship for the academic year 2023-24.
This highly competitive and prestigious award aims to support talented and motivated Ph.D. scholars from Commonwealth countries. It is fully funded by the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), department of the Government of the United Kingdom and administered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC), UK. This scholarship will enable her to further her research at the University of Bath, England, UK for a duration of 12 months.
She is presently working with the Power Management Research Group under the joint supervision of Dr. Satish Sharma, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Rohit Bhakar, Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at MNIT Jaipur. Her research area focuses on smart grid cybersecurity, specifically on the modeling of Load Redistribution attacks and their practical implications.
