Applications are invited from highly motivated and dynamic eligible candidates for Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position to work on the AMRUT-funded Centre of Urban Planning for Capacity Building sponsored research project. The details of the project are as follows:

Project Title: Development of AI-Based Tool for Illegal Waste Dumping and Construction Site Identification

Eligibility

M.E/M.Tech. degree in Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical Engineering (or Equivalent) or MSc (Mathematics/Computing or equivalent) or MCA with 60% marks or CGPA of 6.5 and above and Two years of research experience

Duration

6 Months or till the completion of project

Fellowship

Rs. 49,560 (Rs. 42,000/-per month + 18 % HRA)

Desirable

Candidates with a strong background in Programming skills (preferably Python), Algorithms and Knowledge of Machine learning/Deep learning and Computer Vision methods are encouraged to apply.

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. -Appointed candidate will be placed at the Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur and appointment will be made purely on a temporary basis till the completion of the project.
  2. -The contract will also include a one-month notice period wherein if the candidate selected wants to discontinue the project he/she will have to inform the PI one month in advance and in case the PI is not satisfied with the performance of the candidate, he will need to inform the candidate one month before termination of the contract.
  3. -The salary is determined as per the funding agency norms and may be revised as and when directed by the agency.
  4. -In case of any unavoidable circumstances, the date of the interview might be changed, which shall be notified on our institute website mnit.ac.in or through email.
  5. -No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the Interview.
