SPARC sponsored One-Week International workshop on “Fundamentals of HEAs and its Application” at MNIT Jaipur in collaboration with NIT Uttarakhand, IIT Jodhpur, Sungkyunkwan University, Korea & Sunchon National University, Suncheon, Korea from July 15th – 19th, 2024

About the Workshop:The objective of this workshop is to systematic and comprehensive description of high-entropy alloys (HEAs). The summarize key properties of HEAs from the perspective of both fundamental understanding and applications, which are supported by in-depth analyses. The workshop also contains computational modeling in tackling HEAs, which help elucidate the formation mechanisms and properties of HEAs from various length and time scales. From an application viewpoint, the attractive properties of HEAs can bring about great opportunities for many new applications. The objective of this workshop is to provide an opportunity to the experts from industries, institutions and research organizations to get together on a common platform to exchange their innovative thoughts and ideas together with practical feedback. As motivated by the unresolved fundamental issues and promising properties of HEAs, this Research Topic is going to cover a wide range of sub-themes which are related to the fundamentals and applications of HEAs, as listed below:
