# Nanostructures for Electronics: Investigation of electronic, opto-electronic (photo-switching, photoluminescence, surface plasmon, defect emission) and magnetic properties of transition metal oxide based nanostructures. # Nanostructures for Energy Generation and Storage: *Designing transition metal oxide based nanostructured electrodes for the fabrication of high performance energy storage devices, including batteries (Ni-Fe) and supercapacitors. *Metal-Organic-Framework (MOF) derived nanostructures as anode materials for Na-ion and K-ion batteries. *Utilization of hematite based nanostructures and nano- heterostructures for photo-electrochemical (PEC) water splitting.
