Department has developed a Climatology lab as climatic information of the place is an important parameter to design a space in buildings and analyzing the climate parameters for better design options. This lab plays an important role in teaching climatology effectively to the students and support students of UG and PG to explore detail information using various instruments for project or design works. The lab is equipped with the latest instruments and data loggers for assessing the thermal comfort, air quality and lighting of a space in building. The instruments like Hydrothermal meter, Lux Meter, CO2 meter, PH meter, Infrared thermometer, Globe meter etc. are available to measure temperature, humidity, air speed, air quality and light illumination etc.

This Lab provides hand on tools for academic and research works for students to conduct hand on exercise for exploring 3D visualization of the building or product structure using various materials like Wood, Acrylic sheet, Glass, Ivory etc. Various tools are used for model making and other works of carpentry to build the prototype structure of building and their component like staircase, façade, furniture etc. The lab is equipped with the latest tools like Claw Hammer, Handsaw, Tenon saw, Iron Jack Planner, Wooden Marking Gauge etc. for conducting different exercise by students under supervision of the technical staff of lab.

The department is supported with two computer labs facility for student of architecture i.e. one is in departmental Computer lab with 40 workstations which is located in the department complex and another is in Computer Center at Prabha Bhawan which is equipped with 510 high end PCs including 120 graphics work stations placed in ten fully air conditioned computer laboratories with all modern teaching aids. The students are allowed to use these labs for 24 x 7 for their academic works and activities. The computer in the labs are equipped with latest architectural Software like Autodesk Revit, Auto-CAD, 3Ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, Google Sketch-up, Autodesk MEP, Revit MEP, Illustrator, Indesign Acrobat Flash, Adobe Suite etc.

The department is facilitating students with two libraries in the institute. The first one is the main institute library, well equipped library with open access system. It has rich collection of about 1,33,600 volumes of books, periodicals, reports and reference material. In addition to the books from main library, some more books are issued to students from book bank also. The library is being fully computerized. The second one is in the architecture department, which provides some historical and current information and resources like relevant architecture books, journals, periodicals. The library is strongest in classical studies, ancient history and updated with contemporary books.

Documentation Lab of the Department is responsible for promoting information exchange mechanisms by reporting and disseminating the outcomes by students. It has a large collection of work done in NASA, Studio works, Annual Report, Seminar, Convocation Booklets, and Newsletters etc.

Material Museum displays the new materials from the construction and architecture sector, such as self-cleaning tiles, hemp insulation. Many of the construction materials used are focused on emerging technology or on nature itself, such as rice husk used for insulation purposes.

It is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. Department of Architecture equipped with an FDM based 3D printer which allow the students to print their imagination into a physical Model with the FDM technology in ABS, PLA and a variety of materials.

Laser Cutters are ideally suited for cutting to size and different materials could be used in model making and developing architectural building components models. The outstanding features of laser cutting are a high level of precision and flexibility. The department is equipped with one laser cutter which enables the students to cut various parts of models very precisely.
