Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur organized Science Fair under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) on February 18, 2017 (Saturday) from 9 AM to 4 PM at Prabha Bhawan, near Souvenir Shop, MNIT Jaipur. In this event, MNIT Jaipur invited 200 village school students from five villages, namely Dhab ka Nala, Pahariya, Bhurthal, Tamariya, and Jirrota which have been adopted by MNIT Jaipur for their development under UBA. Prof. Uday Kumar Yaragatti, Director, MNIT Jaipur was present in this event to motivate and encourage the students. For this event, various innovative science projects as a model were prepared by B.Tech, Masters, and Ph.D. students of MNIT Jaipur. Using the science and engineering models, MNIT students explained various useful techniques, e.g. Sewage treatment, windmill, automatic street light, solar oven, carbonic mobile toilets and digestion system etc. to the village school students. After successful completion of this event, sweets and fruits were distributed to all students. To further enhance the participation of students in future events, prizes and certificates were distributed among all the participants of various science projects. This science fair was organized by MNIT faculties, Dr. Namita Mittal, Dr. Kavita Lalwani and Dr. Subba Ramaiah.
