A Computer Skill Development Program was organized during 14th- 18th April, 2017 for the youth living in the villages adopted by MNIT under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) of the Ministry of Human Resource Development for the upliftment of rural India. Total 22 participants participated in this program. The participants were taught about basic computer, basic Internet skills, MS- Word, MS-Excel, MS- Powerpoint, Creating and operating email ID, railway booking, online shopping, online bill payment, social networking, e- newspaper, online recharge, etc. The participants were provided with a kit, a basic computer course book. Breakfast, Lunch and High Tea were also arranged by the institute during this program.
The participants were quite happy with the program and requested Dr. Namita Mittal (Coordinator, UBA MNIT) and Dr. Sushant Upadhyaya and Dr. M. L. Meena (Program Coordinators) to organize more such program for the development of their villages. They also promised that they would play a vital role with the institute in the development of their villages. During the closing ceremony of the program on the 18th April 2017, feedback was taken from the participants, certificates were awarded and encouraged them in contributing towards the development of the society.
