Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) for UG Programme
01. Graduates will successfully engage themselves in practice of engineering or relevant fields; They will pursue wide-spectrum careers appropriately as technologists, innovators, consultants, managers & entrepreneurs and will advance in their profession.
02. Develop and deploy engineering/technological solutions using latest techniques & tools/CAD (TCAD, EDA, ICT etc.) imbibing concern for eco-system, and an attitude to serve society & humanity at large,
03. As appropriate to their professional or educational positions, graduates will
(i) Effectively communicate technical information to educate/persuade multiple audiences
(ii) Effectively contribute on multicultural/multidisciplinary teams, keeping abreast with emerging technology
04. Graduates will continue in education & life-long learning; e.g. higher education, professional development activities, and further career prospects.
05. Inculcate and inspire high ethical and technical standards.

Program Outcomes (POs) for UG Programme
01. An ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering.
02. An ability to design and conduct experiments as well as to analyze and interpret data
03. An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, health and safety
04. An ability to function on multidisciplinary teams
05. An ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems
06. An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility
07. An ability to communicate effectively
08. The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal context
09. A recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning
10. Kknowledge of probability and statistics, including applications appropriate to the electrical engineering (Electronics, Communication)
11. Knowledge of mathematics through differential and integral calculus, and basic sciences and engineering topics (including computing science) necessary to analyze and design complex electrical and electronic devices, software, and systems containing hardware and software components
12. Knowledge of advanced mathematics, such as differential equations, linear algebra, complex variables, and discrete mathematics
13. A knowledge of contemporary issues an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice

01. Postgraduates will continue perpetual learning for professional advancement in engineering, contribute new knowledge and apply innovatively in an appropriate context within the field as well as multi-disciplinary situations; imbibing concern for eco-system, and an attitude to serve society & humanity at large.
02. Postgraduates successfully engage themselves in practice of engineering with capability of assimilating undergraduate fundamentals as well as advanced knowledge to solve complex electronics & communication engineering problems.
(i) Possessing knowledge of advanced topics in two or more areas, having depth in at least one area, from within the field of electronics & communication engineering.
03. Postgraduates will have the ability to identify a significant research or development problem to undertake for their dissertation work and have capability to document the results in lucid and articulate form.
04. Inculcate and inspire higher ethical and technical standards.
